Notifications
Get told when deployments, health, nodes and backups change.
ZenSailor can reach you before the dashboard needs to be open: in-app, by email, or through Gotify push. Channels and event families configure independently, so you decide what warrants a phone ping versus a quiet in-app banner.
Configuration#
Connect the channels under Settings → Providers — SMTP for email, a Gotify server for push — then set per-event × per-channel preferences: the notification center shows each event family and how it is delivered.
Event families#
| Family | What fires |
|---|---|
| Deployment lifecycle | queued, window-deferred, success, failed, canceled |
| Service health | unhealthy, recovered, OOM-killed, storage diverged |
| Node status | online/offline, pressure, disk forecast |
| Backup and restore | run results and restore completion |
| Platform | updates available and registry GC |
The point of the matrix is to not drown: a staging redeploy queued behind a window is an in-app line; a production node going offline is a push notification.
