First Steps
Create your admin account and configure your first instance.
Once the installer completes, wait about 30 seconds for the containers to initialize, then open your instance's domain.
1. Create the admin account#
Navigate to your configured domain (e.g. https://paas.example.com). You are
greeted by the initialization screen.
The first user to register becomes the Platform Administrator with full control over the system configuration. Later signups can be restricted or turned off under Settings → General.
2. Configure GitHub (optional but recommended)#
To enable automatic deployments from private repositories:
- Go to Settings → GitHub App.
- Click Configure GitHub App.
- You are redirected to GitHub to create a new App manifest.
- Install the App on the organizations/repositories you want to deploy.
3. Run the quick setup#
The onboarding modal — reopen it any time from Settings — walks through the defaults worth setting once: personal preferences, alert channels, the AI provider used for log analysis, and GitHub readiness.
4. Activate a paid plan (optional)#
If you purchased Pro or Enterprise, copy the activation key from your ZenSailor account and paste it into Settings → License. The plan applies immediately without a restart.
